Academic Projects: Project: "Constructing a Playground for the Leo Butler Center and McKinley Middle School."
SKILLS
Scientific: Analyzed the reactivity and transport of heavy metals in soils and prepared detailed reports on my methods and findings. Assisted research professors in two labs at Louisiana State University as a lab assistant, and helped to run tests on soils, plants, and various projects while conducting research for the Louisiana Rice Board.
Computer: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Excel, Quicken, Oracle, and Corel.
Teamwork: Worked with a team of 5 students on an engineering project that provided individuals with a problem and coming up with a solution to a problem. Various ideas was developed that helped to establish a report and proposal for the playground site for the community.
Communication: Prepared, organized, and gave speeches for the playground project and addressed the cost issues to the community to construct such a project.
