What Is Mind Mapping?
Mind mapping is a form of brainstorming in which facts and ideas about a subject are represented in the form of a diagram with the main subject at the center and sub-topics and related ideas radiating from it. The diagram shows hierarchies and relationships among the ideas. I have created a mind map describing Distance Education, and I have expanded on the definition with aspects of Distance Education that I have learned so far. The mind map that I have created is a visual that shows the unique aspects of Distance Education, and it shows how these are related. As I continue to learn about Distance Education, I will expand my mind map to incorporate new ideas, and I will be able to visually map my definition as it grows.
